About the Founder
Dr. Lisa Gess, Ed.D., is a California credentialed teacher and founder of Educator Growth Academy. With over three years of CalTPA-focused coaching experience, she has supported 94 credential candidates and maintains a 98% pass rate.
Drawing on her background in teacher education and instructional coaching, Dr. Gess approaches CalTPA as more than a submission requirement. Her work centers on strengthening reflective practice, helping educators clearly analyze their instructional decisions, examine student learning with depth, and confidently articulate their professional reasoning.
Candidates leave not only prepared to submit strong work, but equipped with habits of reflection that extend into their own classrooms.
